EPISODES SEASON ONE "So the whole thing exploded. And there we were, 70,000 light years from home and no way to get back. It felt pretty lonely." "That's a very noble story." |
Voyager Episode GuideThe crew take some time to settle in and get to know the ship and each other. Starfleet and Maquis have to learn to get along, Wardrobe have to learn to get their lieutenants' rank pips right, and everybody has to learn to love Neelix's cooking. Or at least tolerate it.
With the Kazon and the Vidiians nipping at their heels, spies in the ranks, grudge matches, and a psychopathic killer among the crew, it's not the crew's happiest year. Even if the bizarre aftereffects of the transwarp experiments are always good for a laugh.
Season Three The crew learns to lighten up a little and enjoy the journey. There's a brief holiday in 1996 Los Angeles, beach parties on the holodeck, civil war manoeuvres in the Q continuum, and Seska's holographic parting gift to Tuvok. Of course, there's also Borg space dead ahead...
Season Four A time of change, when the crew loses Kes and gains Seven. As Janeway's desire to get her crew back starts to become an obsession, they make significant progress towards that end. They even send a few postcards to the folks at home.
Season Five The year when the journey catches up with them. Janeway and Torres get depressed, Paris and Kim get rebellious, and Seven, Chakotay and the Doctor all have identity crises. In spite of this, they manage to build a new shuttle and do some serious travelling.
Season Six Regular contact with the Alpha Quadrant is achieved. Admiral Paris says hello... and Admiral Heyes wants them to put their accounts in order. The Doctor and Seven learn to dream, a couple of old crewmembers drop by for a visit, and they pick up some more Borg hitchhikers.
Season Seven A work still in progress. Will Voyager make it home to the Alpha Quadrant before the end of the season and the end of the show's run?
The bits of season five that made it to the cutting room floor instead of the screen, if you happened to be watching in UPN-land at least...
